Each week, you’ll play with a new group for one hour at your skill level. Mix and match teammates and opponents each game!

Do I need to bring a partner?
Nope! You'll play as an individual in Silly Pickles league! Your League Host will schedule you with new partners each week, always at your level! It's a great way to meet new people across San Francisco.
What skill levels can join this league?
Everyone is welcome! Brand-new players, casual rec players, and advanced players can all join. Just enter your skill level at checkout, and we’ll place you in the right part of the ladder. The rotation keeps things organized and ensures everyone gets evenly matched play.
Can I play with a friend?
We love when friends come together! You’re welcome to sign up with a friend, but you’ll each play in our league as an individual. Our leagues are intentionally designed for social play, so maybe you’ll see them on the courts, or just meet ‘em for a drink afterwards with everyone!
What if I am completely new to pickleball?
Welcome to the club! Beginners are a big part of our community. Our leagues are friendly, organized, and designed for people who want to learn without feeling overwhelmed. Each season has a Pickleball 101 session, and our players are usually super friendly and willing to help out if you need.
Are lessons or classes included with the league?
The league itself focuses on playing games rather than structured classes. However, we do offer free intro sessions for new players who want help learning the rules and getting comfortable on the court before or alongside league play. That said, many people typically learn quickly just by playing regularly!
What is a typical league night like?
A typical league night is simple, and social. You'll let us know if you can make it via an RSVP beforehand. From there, we'll put you in the schedule - on game day simply show up to play with your court! You'll play with your assigned group, enter your scores after game play, and maybe grab a drink with new friends!
Can I stay and hang out after my session?
Of course! Many of the venues we play at have social areas where players like to gather before and after matches. Grab a drink or a quick snack, relax, and stick around to watch other games. We'll schedule some planned Happy Hours as well.
