FAQs - Atlanta Pickleball Leagues

Do I need previous experience before joining a league?

Nope! Our leagues are super beginner-friendly. All skills levels are welcome! Our ladder format keeps matchups fresh, you with players at your level, so you can focus on playing and having fun.

What does a typical league night look like?

Every week, you'll be assigned a Court # and start time. We organize everything for you, so there's no waiting around or figuring out matchups. You play, rotate partners, and enjoy a full hour on the court. Most of our players also socialize before or after game play!

How does the ladder format work?

Each week, you’ll be placed in a new group of players close to your skill level. Within this group, play mini games to 15 points, rotating partners each round. After game time, simply submit your scores through our system.

Depending on your performance, you’ll either stay at your current level, or move up or down the ladder for the following week of play.

We host everyone from beginners to more advanced players, and the ladder naturally sorts people into the right spot!

How long is an Atlanta season?

Most Atlanta pickleball seasons run for 8 weeks. Each league page lists the exact schedule, start date, and end date.

How do I know what skill level to choose?

No need to overthink it! When registering, pick the option that feels closest to how you currently play.

Whether you’re playing for the first time or fall somewhere between intermediate and advanced, the ladder adjusts naturally. Even if you are not placed perfectly at first, games settle in quickly and stay fun. We can always make a skill-level adjustment if needed.

Do you offer open play or drop-ins?

Right now, we focus on structured league play, so you’ll need to sign up for the season to join in.

Many of the venues we play at also offer open play or court reservations, which you can organize separately if you’re looking to play pickleball outside of league nights!
