PLAYER GUIDE

🤠 Each week, you’ll be scheduled for one hour of play.

🚀 Within that hour, play 3 games to 15 points, new partner each round, all at your level!

🙂 Traditional pickleball rules apply: side out scoring, you must be serving to score.

🤪 Games stop at 15 points - no win by 2.

Every league has it’s own chat to talk live! We use GroupMe, which you can access via your computer or mobile app.
Your Host will use this chat to keep you informed on live updates, and all fun stuff! 🍻

SCHEDULING DETAILS

RSVPS
Each week, we’ll ask you to RSVP for your next game day. Click into the link to let us know yes 👍if you can make it or no 👎 if you can’t.

THE SCHEDULE
If you RSVP yes, you’re in! We’ll send you a schedule with your court number and start time by text and email.

GAME DAY
On Game Day, your host will lock in the schedule. No more subs or swaps! Your court is counting on you to show up ▶️

SCORECARDS
After you play, enter your scores into our system. We’ll use your scores to update rankings and do it all again next week 🚀

Doubles pickleball games require 4 players per court!

Each week, we build the schedule (courts + times) around confirmed players to ensure full courts and fun matchups.

When you RSVP “yes,” you’re committing to your spot!
Can’t Make It? Sub Out 🔁
If you said yes to play, but no longer can attend (we know life happens!) be sure to request a sub through the schedule link before game day.

This will push a "Sub Request" Notification out to everyone at your skill level. We will send you a message back once it's picked up.

You’re also welcome to enter your own replacement (at a similar skill level).
No-Show Fee 💔
If you don’t show up, and don’t have a replacement sub confirmed, your court can't play as planned😭

As a preventative measure, we implement a $30 No-Show Fee. We never want to enforce this! It simply exists to encourage players to find a replacement before Game Day.

If needed, the $30 Fee is paid directly to each your courtmates for their time ($10 each).

If someone on your court no-showed, please email support@sillypickles.com with the details and CC your League Host!

RANKING

How do I move up or down the ladder?
Our system uses your scores to rerank everyone weekly! We don’t share our algorithm, but the best way to move up is to win your games (and the most points)!

How do I see my rank?
You can see your new rank on the RSVP link each week.

I feel like I’m not playing at my level!

Oh, no! It’s rare, but possible that we need to make a manual adjustment. Please let your League Host know ASAP - they will make it right!

Does my rank change if I miss a week?
Your ranking can change slightly if you miss a week, but nothing major.

Does subbing affect my ranking
Nope! If you're a sub, your score does not count towards your rank.

Requesting a Sub

If you're in the schedule and can no longer make it, please use the schedule link to request a sub ASAP⚡
Our system will automatically send a "Sub Request" notification to other players at your level ✉️
Be sure it's picked up (we'll send you confirmation) to avoid a No-Show Fee.
You're also welcome to add your own sub!

Sub Requests

You may receive this notification if someone at your level requests a sub.
Want in? Click "I can play!" to accept it.
Your score will not count toward your ranking for sub games!
Please note - you can't remove yourself from a game, so be sure you can make it before you accept. Notify your Host if you need to be removed from the game.

Game Time!

Last up, we'll send you a scorecard link 🎯
Click "Play Game" to submit your scores for each game.
Remember, we play to 15 points for each game.
Only 1 person needs to submit scores.
If someone on your court No-Shows 😭 click "Report no show" to let your League Host know.
